The 2016 Millville Monster Truck Show was an awesome event to attend. KSR Motorsports was the promoter of the event and this was the second straight year of doing a monster truck show at NJMP.
There were 5 monster trucks here like Bigfoot (Driver: Darron Schnell), Thrasher (Driver: Shawn Oblen), Bad News Travels Fast (Driver: Brandon Derrow), XDP (Driver: Dave Radzierez), and Rislone Defender (Driver: Zach Adams) at this event, there were only 4 in 2015.
Also at the event were 2 mini monsters, quad war racing, and a jet car. There were more people at this event than in 2015. I expect this event to continue to grow next year when KSR Motorsports returns to New Jersey Motorsports Park in July 2017. I also think that KSR Motorsports will add 1 more truck to the lineup, and make it 6 trucks next year.
At the monster truck pit party, I got to meet Darron Schnell who is one of the Bigfoot drivers and I learned a lot about the monster truck business. He even told me where he got started and what trucks he drove before joining Bigfoot. He was a really nice guy and I hope he comes back to NJMP next year. Again, this was a fun event to attend and I can’t wait to go again in 2017.
