Over the weekend, Wildwood, New Jersey held its annual Wildwood Monster Truck Show from Wildwood, NJ. This was a fun event to attend. I’ve been to many monster truck events in Wildwood for years but this was the first time attending a night show and it didn’t disappoint.
The promoter of the event is Wildwood Motor Events. A long time ago, a former promotion called Thunder Moto had monster truck events as well for 15 years. But they didn’t just have monster truck races, they would have boat racing and FMX racing on the beach. I would like to see both of those return someday.
There were six monster trucks featuring Bigfoot, Jester, Brutus, Avenger, Heavy Hitter, and Basher along with tough trucks racing on the famous S track and Megasaurus. Megasaurus eats cars and that was cool to see.
Another cool spot is you can see the Ferris Wheel lit up at night to the left of where the iconic S track is. What is nice about going to this event is before or after the event, you can walk on the boardwalk, get something to eat, and shop. Plus, the weather was nice and cool. Here is a picture of the Ferris Wheel. It’s awesome.
If you are a monster truck fan and love to travel to see these huge trucks race and freestyle. You should definitely put Wildwood on the list. The Atlantic Ocean along with the beach makes for a beautiful background to go along with the monster trucks in it.
