Atlantic City FC Kicks Off Season with Win

After Atlantic City FC won their friendly match against the Nebraska Bugeaters FC last Saturday, May 5th, it was time to kick off the regular season in style.

The crowd welcomed Atlantic City FC with open arms as they entered the field Wednesday night, May 9th against division rival FC Monmouth at Stockton University’s G. Larry James Stadium. It didn’t take long for Atlantic City FC to get on the board as Winger Cam Vickers scored in the 18th minute to give the ACFC a 1 to 0 lead.

This would be the only goal scored in the first half. The second half was packed with action, Forward Sidney Rivera put the game away in the 62nd minute to give Atlantic City FC a 2 to 0 lead and win over FC Monmouth.

Atlantic City FC next game will be on the road against the New Jersey Copa on Saturday, May 12th, at St. Johns Vianney HS.

Their next home game will be on Saturday, May 19th against the Junior Lone Stars FC at Stockton University. Tickets can be purchased on Atlantic City FC website at www.atlanticcityfc.com or at the field.
