Two Ocean City Nor’easters players drafted in MLS SuperDraft 2020

Two Ocean City Nor’easters players Deri Corfe and Keegan Meyer were drafted Thursday in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft in Baltimore, MD.

Deri Corfe was selected by the New York Red Bulls in the second round, pick forty-one. Corfe was the 2019 USL League Two MVP scoring fourteen goals and three assists for the Nor’easters. Corfe attended college at Wright State University. During the 2019 season at Wright State, Corfe had nine goals and seven assists in sixteen games.

Ocean City Nor’easters goalkeeper Keegan Meyer was selected two spots later in the second round, pick forty-three by the New England Revolution. Meyer attended college at High Point University. Meyer finished his career at High Point as the all-time shutout leader with twenty-seven and a record of 48-19-8 with 182 saves.
