Lehigh Valley Phantoms

The Phantoms got back forwards Connor Bunnaman and Joel Farabee from the Flyers after Monday’s NHL Trade Deadline. They then announced that forward Max Willman was loaned to the Reading Royals of the ECHL.

Willman has played twenty-five games for the Phantoms notching three goals and four assists. The 25-year-old from Barnstable, MA, was initially drafted in the fifth round of the 2014 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres.

This season in Reading, Willman has played sixteen games with five goals and ten assists on forty-nine shots. Reading is currently in second place in the ECHL’s Eastern Conference North Division with a record of 31-16-5 and are fourth overall in the conference trailing the South Carolina Stingrays, Florida Everblades, and Newfoundland Growlers.
