NTT IndyCar Series releases 2021 schedule

On Thursday, the NTT IndyCar Series released the 2021 schedule featuring 17 races beginning March 7th at St. Petersburg and concluding on September 7th from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

The Series will race four ovals, seven road courses, and six street circuits. The Series will have two doubleheader weekends at Texas Motor Speedway and Raceway at Belle Isle Park in Detroit.

New to the schedule is a street circuit race at Nashville, along with returning to Portland, Laguna Seca, and Long Beach. The Indy 500 will be held on May 30th. The Series will collaborate with NASCAR on August 14th from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. The tracks that are not returning are Iowa Speedway, Richmond Raceway, and Circuit of the Americas. Here is the 2021 schedule.

            March 7th– Streets of St. Petersburg

            April 11th- Barber Motorsports Park

            April 18th– Streets of Long Beach

            May 1st– Texas Motor Speedway Race 1

            May 2nd– Texas Motor Speedway Race 2

            May 15th– Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course

            May 30th– Indianapolis 500

            June 12th– Raceway at Belle Isle Park Race 1

            June 13th– Raceway at Belle Isle Park Race 2

            June 20th– Road America

            July 4th– Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

            July 11th– Streets of Toronto

            August 8th– Streets of Nashville

            August 14th– Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course

            August 21st– World Wide Technology Raceway

            September 12th– Portland International Raceway

            September 19th– WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
