Indy Pro 2000 and Cooper Tire USF2000 return to New Jersey Motorsports Park in 2021

After a ten-year hiatus, the Indy Pro 2000 and the Cooper Tire USF2000 returned to New Jersey Motorsports Park earlier this month at Thunderbolt Raceway.

Fans in attendance watched future IndyCar stars such as Devlin DeFrancesco, Sting Ray Robb, and Eduardo Barrichello win while Christian Rasmussen not only swept the final two races but also won the Cooper Tire USF2000 championship.

On Thursday, both series released their 2021 schedules, and they will return to New Jersey Motorsports Park for their final events of the season on August 28th and 29th for a triple-header round.

The Cooper Tire USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000 series are developmental racing leagues for the NTT IndyCar Series. Both series have featured today’s IndyCar stars like Conor Daly, Sage Karam, and Zach Veach, who raced at NJMP in 2010.

The only other driver that competed at NJMP in 2010 for the Indy Pro 2000 series was IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar driver Conner De Phillippi.

You can watch both series live all season long at the Road to Indy YouTube channel. The rest of the 2021 New Jersey Motorsports Park schedule will be released at a later date.
