The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, released the 2021 schedule. The team will have two preseason games before kicking off the regular season with four straight road games starting Saturday, February 6th, at the Hershey Bears. The Phantoms first home game of the season will be on Saturday, February 20th at 7:05 pm against the Binghamton Devils.
The Phantoms will play 40 games, two in preseason and 38 in the regular season. The AHL announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have limited travel for the teams. In the short season, the Phantoms will play the Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals), Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Pittsburgh Penguins), and the Binghamton Devils (New Jersey Devils), who will play at the Devils home arena Prudential Center.
