Two Phantoms players called up to Flyers Taxi Squad

On Thursday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that Tanner Laczynski and Linus Sandin have been called up to the Flyers Taxi Squad, and Connor Bunnaman and Carsen Twarynski have been assigned to the Phantoms.

Tanner Laczynski is coming off a hat trick this past Wednesday against the Devils. He has played fourteen games in his first season with Lehigh Valley and has six goals and four assists. The Flyers drafted Laczynski in the sixth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Linus Sandin was also in his first season with the Phantoms. He signed with the Flyers last spring and played thirteen games with two goals and three assists. He recorded an assist on March 21st against the Penguins in a 5-4 win.

The Phantoms welcome back Connor Bunnaman and Carsen Twarynski, who will make their season debuts on Saturday against the Penguins. Bunnaman played 18 games this year with the Flyers and recorded one assist.

Last year, he played 29 games for the Phantoms tallying six goals and three assists. Twarynski played four games for the Flyers. Last year, he played 31 games for the Phantoms with seven goals and five assists.  

The Phantoms will be back in action this Saturday against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 pm on AHL.tv.
