Starting lineup for the 105th Indianapolis 500

This weekend, the NTT IndyCar Series qualified for the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500. The grueling week of practice left many wondering if they were going to make it to the show. Each car runs four laps with their average speed settings their positions. In the end, only 33 drivers will race for the prestigious Borg-Warner Trophy.

Scott Dixon won the pole this a total time of 02:35.3837 seconds at 231.685 mph. Joining him on the front row are Colton Herta, with a time of 02:35.4034 seconds at 231.655 mph, and Rinus VeeKay with a time of 02:35.5000 seconds at 231.511 mph. The Indianapolis 500 will air next Sunday, May 30th, at 11 am on NBC.
