Linemen wins The Spring League Mega Bowl

The Spring League

The Spring League concluded the 2021 spring season Saturday afternoon from Rice Stadium in the Mega Bowl between the Linemen and Jousters. The Linemen won the Mega Bowl 26-23. Linemen quarterback Ryan Willis was named MVP.

Willis was 26-37, 167-yards, and had two touchdowns. Linemen wide receiver Isaac Zico had three catches for 40-yards and two touchdowns. Linemen running-back DJ Davis carried the ball ten times for 46-yards and one rushing touchdown.

Both Jousters quarterbacks Luis Perez and Drew Anderson combined 16-25, 258-yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Jousters wide receiver Joshua Simmons had two catches for 90-yards, and two touchdowns, while wide receiver Darren Woods had one catch for four yards and one touchdown.
