Five winners crowned at Watkins Glen

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship were at Watkins Glen International for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. The pole winners of this race were Konica Minolta (DPi), WIN Autosport ORECA (LMP2), United Autosports USA Ligier (LMP3), Vasser Sullivan Lexus (GTD), and Corvette Racing (GTLM).

There were seven DPi cars, five LMP2 cars, five GTLM cars, seven LMP3 cars, and fourteen GTD cars in the race.

In the closing laps of the race, the No. 55 Mazda Motorsports were low on fuel and had just enough to win the race over Meyer Shank Racing in DPi. The other winners were WIN Autosport ORECA (LMP2), Riley Motorsports Ligier (LMP3), Corvette Racing (GTLM), and Turner Motorsport BMW (GTD).

IMSA will return to Watkins Glen International next Friday, July 2nd, at 6 pm on NBC Sports Gold Track Pass.
