On Monday, the Toronto Argonauts signed veteran linebacker Alexandre Chevrier.
The 28-year-old from Pointe-Claire, Quebec, went to college at Sherbrooke. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2017 CFL Draft by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
He has played special teams for the Roughriders and the Montreal Alouettes. Alexandre Chevrier spent three seasons with the Roughriders before signing with Alouettes earlier this year. He appeared in four games and made two tackles.
In his three seasons on special teams, Chevrier played 38 games and has 30 tackles on special teams.
