On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that D Egor Zamula (Injured Non-Roster) and LW Max Willman had been loaned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Egor Zamula played 25 games last year with the Phantoms with six assists. After that, he was called up by the Flyers and played two games.
The 21-year-old from Chelyabinsk, Russia, played in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the Regina Pats and Calgary Hitmen. He played in 158 games with 19 goals and 83 assists.
In 2020, Zamula played in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships with Russia and played seven games with two goals and three assists.
Max Willman is a 26-year-old from Barnstable, Massachusetts, who played two games with the Flyers. Willman’s journey started with the Reading Royals in the 2019-20 season. He played in 20 games with nine goals and 25 assists.
Willman later went to the Phantoms and played 24 games with three goals and six assists. Last year, Willman played 30 games with the Phantoms, tallying nine goals and seven assists.
The Phantoms return to the PPL Center for their home opener on Saturday, October 23rd, against the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7 pm.
