On Thursday, the Montreal Alouettes signed OL Christian Olmstead. The 25-year-old from Florence, Kentucky, played college football for the University of Findlay, a Division II college, and started 42 games.
In 2018, the Oilers offense allowed seven sacks while putting up 41 points per game, 494-yards per game, 267-yards rushing per game, and 292 first downs (fourth in the country). The Oilers made it to the 2017 championship game with a 10-3 record but lost 45-26 to the Assumption Greyhounds.
He went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. This year, he played for The Spring League’s Linemen, who won the Mega Bowl earlier this year over the Jousters 26-21.
Christian Olmstead will be placed on the suspended list as he completes the COVID protocol.
The Montreal Alouettes host the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday, October 30th, at 7 pm on ESPN+.
