On Monday, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms announced that defenseman Ryan MacKinnon has been loaned to the Reading Royals of the ECHL.
This season, the Reading Royals are 2-1-1 in the ECHL, sitting in second place behind the Newfoundland Growlers in the North Division.
The 27-year-old from Summerside, Prince Edward, Canada, has not appeared this year with the Phantoms.
Ryan MacKinnon played in 17 career games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and had three assists. Before joining the Sound Tigers, he played 124 games for the Worcester Railers with eleven goals and 39 assists.
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms return to the PPL Center this Wednesday, November 3rd, against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 pm.
