The Saskatchewan Roughriders were dealt a blow Wednesday when Head Coach Craig Dickenson announced that wide receiver Kyran Moore is out with a knee injury for the season.

The 25-year-old from Bessemer, Alabama, led the Roughriders in receiving with 64 catches for 585 yards and three touchdowns. He suffered the injury in the second quarter of last week’s game against the Montreal Alouettes, catching one pass for 14-yards.

In three seasons with the Roughriders, Moore has played in 39 games with 174 catches for 2,056 yards and ten touchdowns. The Roughriders will announce Moore’s replacement later.

Kyran Moore played college football at Austin Peay for four seasons (2014-17). He played in 40 games with 56 catches for 918-yards, five touchdowns, 60 carries for 347-yards, and four touchdowns. He went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft then signed with the Roughriders in May 2018.

The Roughriders head to Commonwealth Stadium on Friday, November 5th, against the Edmonton Elks at 9:45 pm on ESPN+.
