On Monday, the B.C. Lions signed kicker Bailey Hale. This comes just one week after the Lions signed kicker Nick Vogel, who made two field goals last week in a loss at Hamilton.
A native of Iowa Park, Texas, Hale played college football at Eastern New Mexico and Louisiana Tech. He spent his first two seasons with the Greyhounds and played 22 games, making 23 of 34 field goals with his longest field goal at 48-yards.
After two seasons with the Greyhounds, Hale transferred to Louisiana Tech. He played 26 games in two seasons with the Bulldogs. He made 30 of 40 field goals, with his longest field goal for 50 yards.
In 2019, he was the C-USA Football All-Conference Second Team, C-USA Football All-Academic Team, PFF All-Conference USA First Team, and CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 Football Team.
The BC Lions host the Calgary Stampeders this Friday, November 12th, at 10:30 pm on ESPN+.
