On Monday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that defenseman Nick Seeler were loaned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and forward Matt Strome was reassigned to the Phantoms from the Reading Royals.
Nick Seeler is a 28-year-old from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He has played in nine games this year with the Flyers. He did not play last year. During the 2019-20 season, he played with the Iowa Wild; he last played in six games with two assists. He later went to the Chicago Blackhawks and played in six games with one assist.
In the NHL, Seeler played in 105 games with two goals and ten assists. Seeler played in 112 games with the Iowa Wild in three seasons with two goals and seventeen assists.
Matt Strome is a 22-year-old from Mississauga, Ontario, and played six games with three goals and four assists for the Royals. Last season, Strome played in three games with the Phantoms and had one goal while playing 26 games with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits with three goals and four assists.
The Phantoms (2-6-6) visit the Giant Center on Wednesday, November 10th, against the Hershey Bears at 7 pm.
