On Thursday, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms called up forward Charlie Gerard from the Reading Royals. This year, he has two goals and two assists for the Royals.
The 25-year-old from Rocky River, Ohio, played four years at Minnesota State University, playing 121 games with 30 goals and 40 assists for the Mavericks.
Last season, he spent time with the Utah Grizzlies and Colorado Eagles. In Utah, he played 49 games with 20 goals and 14 assists, and in Colorado played eight games with one goal.
The Phantoms visit the Dunkin’ Donuts Center tonight against the Providence Bruins at 7:05 pm.
