Calgary Stampeders

On Sunday, the Calgary Stampeders signed offensive linemen Carter Comeau.

The 25-year-old from Riverton, Manitoba, played 19 games (2018-19, 2021) at the University of Calgary and was part of the Dinos 2019 Vanier Cup championship team. Before attending the University of Calgary, he played junior football in B.C. with the Okanagan Sun.

During the 2019 season, the Dinos offense allowed 14 sacks in eight games and helped the team score an average of 30.8 points per game. In 2018, the Dinos offense scored 44.0 points in eight games and allowed just eight sacks. He went undrafted in the 2021 CFL Draft.

Comeau was at the Stampeders training camp for two weeks before being released and returned to the Dinos. Before joining the Stampeders, he spent time in training camp with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Calgary Stampeders wrap up the 2021 season on Saturday, November 20th, from McMahan Stadium against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at 7 pm on ESPN+.
