Ottawa Redblacks continues to build for 2022

On Wednesday, the Ottawa Redblacks continued to build their roster for the 2022 season by re-signing fullback Anthony Gosselin, fullback Marco Dubois, and defensive lineman Kene Onyeka to one-year contract extensions.

 Anthony Gosselin, a 29-year-old from Otterburn Park, Quebec, was the Redblacks’ second-round pick in the 2017 CFL Draft out of Sherbrooke.

He has played 41 games in four seasons with nine catches for 42-yards. This year, Gosselin played 12 games with four catches for 20-yards.

Marco Dubois is a 26-year-old from LaSalle, Quebec, was the Redblacks’ 2018 second-round pick out of Laval. Dubois has played 48 games in three seasons, with one carry for one yard and nine catches for 74-yards. This year, Dubois played 13 games with one carry for one yard and two catches for 29-yards.  

Kene Onyeka is a 25-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria, was a fourth-round pick in the 2018 CFL Draft out of Carleton University. He has played 19 games with 14 tackles, 11 special team tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.

Onyeka played 13 games this year with 14 tackles, 11 special team tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.
