On Monday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that forwards Connor Bunnaman and Max Willman have been loaned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
In a separate move, the Phantoms loaned goalie Pat Nagle to the Reading Royals.
Max Willman returns to the Phantoms after playing one game for the Flyers. The 26-year-old from Barnstable, MA, played four games for the Flyers before returning to the Phantoms. He played against the Syracuse Crunch on November 26th and scored a team-leading eighth goal. Shortly after that game, he headed back to the Flyers.
Willman has played thirteen games with eight goals and two assists (10 points) for the Phantoms this year.
He is in his third season with the Phantoms. Willman started his career with the Reading Royals for two seasons before moving up to the Phantoms. Willman has played in 67 games in two seasons with 20 goals and 15 assists (35 points).
Connor Bunnaman is a 23-year-old from Guelph, Ontario. He played 16 games this year with one goal and one assist (2 points). Two weeks ago, he scored his first goal against the Rochester Americans in a 5-4 shootout loss. He played an additional game against the Toronto Marlies before getting called up. Bunnaman played two games for the Flyers.
Bunnaman has played 41 games for the Flyers with one goal and two assists (3 points). In Bunnaman’s rookie year in 2018-19, he scored 19 goals and 13 assists (32 points) and finished second in scoring for the Phantoms. Connor Bunnaman has played in 122 games with 27 goals and 18 assists (45 points).
Pat Nagle is a 34-year-old from Bloomfield Township, Minnesota, who played nine games this year for the Royals. His record is 5-1-2, allowing 24 goals (2.64 GAA), 326 saves (.926 SV%), and one shutout.
Nagle played one game for the Phantoms back on November 20th against the Toronto Marlies. He made 16 of 19 saves when the Phantoms lost 3-2 in overtime.
Last season, Nagle played for the Grand Rapids Griffins, an AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings. He played twelve games with a 6-6 record with 256 saves and allowed 31 goals. Nagle has played 40 games in the AHL with Rochester, Stockton, and Grand Rapids, with a record of 16-18-2, 956 saves (.906%), and allowed 99 goals (2.68 GAA).
