The Lehigh Valley Phantoms released center Nick Master from his Professional Try Out (PTO) contract on Friday.

The 26-year-old from Broomall, Pennsylvania, played one game for the Phantoms on November 27th against the Bridgeport Islanders. This year, he played ten games for the Maine Mainers of the ECHL. Last year, Master played 36 games for the Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL with eight goals and 18 assists (26 points).

Master played three seasons with the Philadelphia Junior Flyers program. While at La Salle College High School, he won three straight Flyers Cup Championships (Philadelphia Area High School Championships).

In addition to Master’s release, the Philadelphia Flyers recalled forwards Max Willman and Connor Bunnaman.

Willman has played thirteen games with eight goals and two assists (10 points) for the Phantoms this year while playing seven games for the Flyers.

The 26-year-old from Barnstable, MA, played four games for the Flyers before returning to the Phantoms. He played against the Syracuse Crunch on November 26th and scored a team-leading eighth goal. Shortly after that game, he headed back to the Flyers and played against the New Jersey Devils.

Connor Bunnaman is a 23-year-old from Guelph, Ontario. He played 16 games this year with one goal and one assist (2 points). He scored his first goal against the Rochester Americans in a 5-4 shootout loss three weeks ago. He played an additional game against the Toronto Marlies before getting called up. Bunnaman played two games for the Flyers.

Bunnaman has played 42 games for the Flyers with one goal and two assists (3 points). In Bunnaman’s rookie year in 2018-19, he scored 19 goals and 13 assists (32 points) and finished second in scoring for the Phantoms. Connor Bunnaman has played in 122 games with 27 goals and 18 assists (45 points).

The Phantoms will look to end their seven-game losing streak tonight against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 pm. Tonight is the WFMZ-69 Coat Drive Night featuring $2 Miller Lites on special.
