Lehigh Valley Phantoms

On Monday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that goalie Felix Sandstrom had been loaned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Sandstrom backed up goalie Martin Jones last week against the Ottawa Senators. He recently recovered from an illness before heading to Philadelphia after Carter Hart went out with an illness not related to COVID-19.

The 24-year-old from Gavle, Sweden, played 15 games this year with a record of 3-7-3-1, making 355 saves (.896%), and allowed 41 goals (3.08 GAA).

Sandstrom has played 28 games for the Phantoms with a 9-10-6-1 record with 709 saves (.902%), and allowed 77 goals (3.08 GAA).

The Phantoms play the Hershey Bears from the PPL Center on Tuesday, December 21st, at 7:05 pm.
