On Monday, the Montreal Alouettes released veteran quarterback Trevor Harris and veteran offensive lineman David Foucault.
Trevor Harris was acquired by the Alouettes on October 17th from the Edmonton Elks for Antonio Simmons during the Alouettes playoff push. The 35-year-old from Waldo, Ohio, completed 199/283 passes for 2,271 yards, 14 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and 23-carries for 105-yards this year for both the Elks and Alouettes.
In his career, Harris had played in 143 games in nine seasons with 2,054 completions for 24,453 yards, 134 touchdowns, 59 interceptions, 204 carries for 811 yards, and nine touchdowns. Harris is a two-time Grey Cup Champion with the Toronto Argonauts and Ottawa Redblacks. He is a 2016 CFL East All-Star.
David Foucault, a 32-year-old from Lasalle, Quebec, wrapped up his first season with the Alouettes. He signed with the Alouettes on February 8th. Foucault has played in 64 games in four seasons for the BC Lions and Montreal Alouettes.
