Lehigh Valley Phantoms

Just three hours before game time, the American Hockey League (AHL) announced the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Hershey Bears game on December 22nd was postponed due to the league’s COVID-19 protocol affecting the Hershey Bears.

The Bears statement on fans who purchased tickets said. “Fans who purchased tickets to tonight’s game are asked to hold them at this time, and further information will be communicated once the game is rescheduled. Fans who have questions may contact the Giant Center Box Office at hersheyboxoffice@hersheypa.com.”

On Tuesday, the Phantoms defeated Hershey Bears 2-1 as part of a makeup game from December 4th.  A makeup date will be determined at a later date.

The Phantoms are on a holiday break and won’t return until next Wednesday, December 29th, against the Cleveland Monsters from the PPL Center at 7:05 pm.
