The B.C. Lions inked offensive lineman Sukh Chungh to a contract extension on Tuesday. He was set to become a free agent on February 8th.
Sukh Chungh started 14 games this year for the Lions. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers drafted Chungh in the first round of the 2015 CFL Draft out of the University of Calgary. While in Calgary, Chungh earned both the Canada West All-Star and CIS All-Canadian in 2013 and 2014.
Chungh played for the Blue Bombers for four seasons before signing with the Lions in 2019. In six seasons, Chungh played 91 games.
The Lions open the 2022 season against the Edmonton Elks on Saturday, June 11th.
