On Wednesday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed running back/special teams returner Jamal Morrow to a one-year contract extension.

Jamal Morrow played eight games in his first season with the Roughriders. He had nine carries for 41 yards and three catches for 29 yards.

On special teams, Morrow had 30 punt returns for 330-yards and 26 kickoff returns for 586-yards. He also had six missed field goal returns for 206-yards.

In college, Morrow played 50 games in four seasons (2014-17) at Washington State with 316 carries for 1,795 yards, nine touchdowns, 202 catches for 1,748 yards, and 14 touchdowns. On special teams, Morrow had 24 punt returns for 476 yards and 22 kickoff returns for 200 yards.

In addition to Morrow, the Roughriders re-signed defensive lineman Charbel Dabire to a one-year contract extension.

Charbel Dabire played eleven games in 2021 with eight tackles and one sack. The Roughriders drafted Dabire in the fifth round (44th pick) in the 2019 CFL Draft out of Wagner College.

Dabire spent three seasons (2016-18) at Wagner College. He played 33 games with 73 tackles, one forced fumble, and two sacks.

In two seasons with the Roughriders, Dabire played 22 games with 14 tackles, one special teams tackle, and two sacks.
