The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed veteran fullback Mike Miller to a one-year contract extension on Thursday. This will be his fifth season with the Blue Bombers.
Mike Miller played 14 games in 2021 with 25 special teams tackles. He helped the Blue Bombers win two Grey Cup championships in 2019 and 2021.
Miller signed with the Eskimos as an undrafted free agent in 2011 out of Acadia and played six seasons. He was a member of the Eskimos 2015 Grey Cup championship team.
Miller signed with the Blue Bombers in 2017. In 2019, he had one carry for ten yards and 25 special teams tackles when the Blue Bombers won the Grey Cup in 2019.
He won numerous awards, including CFLPA All-Star, CFL West All-Star, West Division Most Outstanding Special Teams Player, Blue Bombers Most Outstanding Canadian, and Blue Bombers Most Outstanding Special Teams Player.
In 172 career games, Miller has one carry for ten yards, six tackles, 210 special teams tackles, one touchdown, and one forced fumble.
