On Thursday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced forward Connor Bunnaman and goalie Felix Sandstrom have been loaned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms from the Flyers Taxi Squad.
Connor Bunnaman played 24 games this year for the Phantoms with four goals and two assists (6-points). In 130 career games for the Phantoms, Bunnaman has 30 goals and 19 assists (49-points). He has also played five games for the Flyers this season.
Bunnaman has played 43 games for the Flyers with one goal and two assists (3 points). In Bunnaman’s rookie year in 2018-19, he scored 19 goals and 13 assists (32 points) and finished second in scoring for the Phantoms.
Felix Sandstrom made his Flyers debut on December 30th against the San Jose Sharks. He allowed three goals on 43 saves. This year for the Phantoms, he played 15 games with a record of 3-7-3-1, making 355 saves (.896%), and allowed 41 goals (3.08 GAA).
Sandstrom played 28 games for the Phantoms with a 9-10-6-1 record with 709 saves (.902%) and allowed 77 goals (3.08 GAA).
This Friday, January 14th, the Phantoms return to action against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 pm.
