The Toronto Argonauts re-signed defensive back Cam Glenn and signed quarterback Austin Simmons on Thursday.
Cam Glenn was on the Argonauts’ practice squad in 2021. He played one game for the Argonauts in 2019.
Glenn played 44 games in four seasons at Wake Forrest (2015-18) with 269 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 16 passes defended, four interceptions, four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
After going undrafted, he signed with the San Francisco 49ers but was released in May 2015 before going to Toronto.
Austin Simmons was on the Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats practice squads. He played 38 games at South Dakota for five seasons with 585 completions for 6,487 yards, 52 touchdowns, 22 interceptions, and 309 carries for 1,044 yards and eleven touchdowns. Simmons went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft
