On Wednesday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed offensive lineman Brandon Revenberg to a two-year contract extension through the 2023 season. The three-time CFL All-Star will enter his sixth season with the Tiger-Cats.

Brandon Revenberg played 14 games in 2021. The Tiger-Cats finished fifth in total offense, scoring 19.1 (PPG), averaging 339.6 (YPG) on 976 plays. The Ticats quarterbacks combined for 297/435 for 3,574 yards, 17 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

The running backs had 269 carries for 1,407 yards nine touchdowns, and the wide receivers had 297 catches for 3,574 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats Head Coach and President of Football Operations Orlondo Steinauer on re-signing Revenberg said. “Brandon is not only a dominant football player but an extraordinary human being. We have had the pleasure of watching him develop into one of the best offensive lineman in the CFL, and we’re excited that he and his family have chosen to remain in Hamilton.”

The Tiger-Cats drafted Steinauer in the first round (3rd pick) in the 2016 CFL Draft out of Grand Valley State. In addition to being a three-time CFL All-Star, Steinauer is a three-time CFL East All-Star and a two-time Leo Dandurand Trophy for Most Outstanding Lineman.
