Saskatchewan Roughriders signs OL Na’Ty Rodgers

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed offensive lineman Na’Ty Rodgers to a one-year contract on Wednesday.

Na’Ty Rodgers played four games in 2021 for the Ottawa Redblacks and in 2018 played ten games for the Montreal Alouettes.

In 2019, Rodgers was on the Blue Bombers practice squad. In 2020, Rodgers spent time with the Tampa Bay Vipers and the Seattle Dragons of the XFL.

Rodgers played 20 games in two seasons (2016-17) at the University of Houston. In his junior year, the Cougars had 1,912 yards on the ground and 34 touchdowns. During his senior season, the Cougars had 2,002 yards on the ground and 25 touchdowns.

Before Rodgers went to Houston, he spent his first two seasons at Iowa Western Community College, where the team won back-to-back ICCAC Conference Championships
