On Thursday, the Ottawa Redblacks re-signed wide receiver Nate Behar to a one-year contract extension. This will be Behar’s third season with the Redblacks.
Nate Behar played 14 games in 2021 with 38 catches for 439-yards and two carries for three yards. In 61 career games, Behar has 81 catches for 865-yards, one touchdown, and two carries for three yards.
Nate Behar is excited to continue his career in Ottawa. “Ottawa has everything in place to be one of the great and successful franchises in this league. From the ownership group, the fans, the city, and facilities. I want to be a part of this organization’s rise.”
The Edmonton Eskimos drafted Behar in the first round (5th pick) in the 2017 CFL Draft out of Carleton. He played two seasons with the Eskimos before signing with the Redblacks.
The Redblacks start the 2022 season on Friday, June 10th, against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
