On Thursday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed wide receiver Jake Harty and defensive back Amari Henderson to one-year contracts.
Jake Harty played 14 games in his first season with the Roughriders with one catch for five yards. Before joining the Roughriders, Harty spent three seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks, winning the 2016 Grey Cup.
The Redblacks drafted Harty in the second round (10th pick) in the 2015 CFL Draft out of the University of Calgary. In 48 career games, Harty has 37 catches for 312-yards and one touchdown.
Amari Henderson recently spent time with the Minnesota Vikings in training camp. He played one preseason game for the Vikings. In 2020, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
Henderson spent five seasons at Wake Forrest (2015-19) with 169 tackles, seven interceptions, 48 pass blocks, and two fumble recoveries.
