Staying in Hamilton, Tiger-Cats re-sign DB Tunde Adeleke

On Thursday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed defensive back Tunde Adeleke to a two-year contract extension, keeping him in black and gold through the 2023 season.

Tunde Adeleke played 12 games with 44 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions, helping the Tiger-Cats to reach their second consecutive Grey Cup.

The Calgary Stampeders drafted Adeleke in the third round (25th pick) in the 2017 CFL Draft out of Carleton. He played for two seasons in Calgary, winning the 2018 Grey Cup before joining the Tiger-Cats.

In 59 career games, Adeleke has 135 tackles, 29 special teams tackles, four sacks, four interceptions, one touchdown, and two forced fumbles. He is a one-time CFL All-Star and two-time CFL East All-Star.
