On Friday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced several transactions. The Flyers placed Forwards Kevin Hayes (surgery) and Joel Farabee (upper-body injury) on IR while calling up forwards Wade Allison and Jackson Cates from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Farabee will miss three-to-four weeks, while Kevin Hayes status is unknown. The Flyers loaned forward Connor Bunnaman back to the Phantoms.
Wade Allison (24-years-old) played seven games for the Phantoms this year with three goals and one assist (4-points). He is on a three-game scoring streak. Allison suffered a high ankle sprain that kept him out of action earlier in the season.
Jackson Cates (24-years-old) played 21 games for the Phantoms with two goals and four assists (6-points). Cates played seven games for the Flyers, scoring his first goal on December 16th against the Montreal Canadiens.
Connor Bunnaman (23-years-old) played 26 games this year for the Phantoms with five goals and two assists (7-points). In 132 career games for the Phantoms, Bunnaman has 31 goals and 19 assists (50-points). He has also played eight games for the Flyers this season.
Bunnaman has played 47 games for the Flyers with one goal and two assists (3 points). In Bunnaman’s rookie year in 2018-19, he scored 19 goals and 13 assists (32 points) and finished second in scoring for the Phantoms.
The Phantoms continue their road trip tomorrow against the Charlotte Checkers at 4 pm.
