On Friday, the B.C. Lions signed wide receiver Zac Parker and running back Darius Clark to one-year contracts. The Lions also released wide receiver Lemar Durant.
Zac Parker played two games for the Montreal Alouettes in 2019. In 2018, Parker tried out for the Washington Redskins.
Zack Parker played 35 games in three seasons at Liberty University (2013-15) with 79 catches for 740 yards, one touchdown, 12 carries for 115 yards, and one touchdown. Parker transferred to Virginia State in his senior year (2018) and played 11 games with 34 catches for 676 yards, four touchdowns, six carries for 11 yards, and one punt return touchdown.
Darius Clark recently tried out with the Carolina Panthers and played one preseason game. Clark played 43 games in four seasons (2015-18) at Newberry College with 103 carries for 384 yards, two touchdowns, 35 catches for 264 yards, and three touchdowns.
Lemar Durant played eight games in 2021 with 24 catches for 263 yards and one carry for 18 yards. The Calgary Stampeders drafted the six-year veteran in the second round (18th pick) in the 2015 CFL Draft out of Simon Fraser.
In 74 career games, Durant has 183 catches for 2,353 yards, 13 touchdowns, and nine carries for 67 yards. Durant was part of the Calgary Stampeders 2018 Grey Cup championship team.
