On Friday, the Montreal Alouettes signed seven players, including Philadelphia native Prince Smith Jr.

Prince Smith Jr. took part with the Montreal Alouettes in training camp in 2021. In the NFL, Smith had tryouts with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants in 2020.

Smith played 44 games in four seasons (2016-19) at the University of New Hampshire with 193 tackles, three sacks, 11 interceptions, 42 pass blocks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

In addition to Smith Jr., the Alouettes signed OL Samuel Thomassin, WR Craig Rucker, OL Tyler Roemer, WR Ente Eguavoen, S Ethan Makonzo, and DL Brock Gowanlock.
