Six-Time CFL All-Star OL Stanley Bryant re-signs with Blue Bombers

On Friday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed six-time CFL All-Star, six-time CFL West All-Star, and three-time Grey Cup champion offensive lineman Stanley Bryant to a one-year contract extension. This will be Bryant’s seventh season in Winnipeg.

Stanley Bryant played 13 games in 2021. During the 2021 season, the Blue Bombers’ offense surrendered the fewest sacks in the league and allowed the Blue Bombers rushers to have the second-best rushing totals in the league.

The future Hall of Famer has played in 169 career games with the Calgary Stampeders (2010-14) and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2015-present). He was named the Blue Bombers Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman for the fifth time in his career.

Bryant has won numerous awards in his career, such as a three-time DeMarco–Becket Memorial Trophy for the best offensive lineman in the West Division and a three-time CFL’s Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award.

Stanley Bryant won three Grey Cup championships with the Stampeders (2014) and the Blue Bombers twice (2019, 2021).
