Toronto Argonauts sign WR Matt Boateng and DB Damonte Coxie

On Monday, the Toronto Argonauts extended the contracts of wide receiver Matt Boateng and defensive back Damonte Coxie.

Matt Boateng played 12 games in 2021 with three tackles and two special teams tackles. Boateng has played 24 games for the Argo’s with 11 tackles and three special teams tackles. The Argonauts drafted Boateng in the second round (18th pick) in the 2019 CFL Draft.

Damonte Coxie recently tried out for the Green Bay Packers but didn’t make the team. Coxie played 43 games in four seasons At Memphis (2017-20) with 185 catches for 2,948 yards and 20 touchdowns.
