Former Wayne State product WR Darece Roberson Jr. signs with the Argonauts

On Monday, the Toronto Argonauts signed former Wayne State product Darece Roberson Jr. to a one-year contract.

Darece Roberson Jr. played 43 games in four seasons (2016-19) at Wayne State University. Roberson caught 92 passes for 1,767 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 11 carries for 134 yards. On special teams, Roberson had 32 kickoff returns for 774 yards, one touchdown, 21 punt returns for 247 yards, and one touchdown.

After college, he spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent. Roberson played two preseason games for the Seahawks with four catches for 12-yards and one touchdown.
