Running back Don Jackson returns to the Tiger-Cats

On Friday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed running back Don Jackson to a two-year contract extension, keeping him in black and gold through the 2023 season.

Don Jackson played four games in 2021 with 44 carries for 245-yards, one touchdown, eight catches for 94-yards, and one touchdown.

Before coming to the CFL, Jackson signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2016 out of Nevada. He played in three games in two seasons (2016-17) for Green Bay with ten carries for 32 yards.

Jackson has played in 24 career games for the Calgary Stampeders (2018-19) and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2021) with 262 carries for 1,415 yards, six touchdowns, 52 catches, 394 yards, and one touchdown. Jackson was a member of the 2018 Calgary Stampeders Grey Cup championship team when they defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 27-16 in Edmonton.
