On Tuesday, the BC Lions signed former First-Team All-Pac 12 wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas to a one-year contract.

De’Anthony Thomas (29-years-old) last played with the Baltimore Ravens in 2019. In 14 games, Thomas caught one ball for 14-yards and two carries for five yards. On special teams, Thomas had 17 kickoff returns for 321-yards and 26 punt returns for 148-yards.
The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Thomas in the fourth round (124th pick) in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Oregon. Thomas played 55 games in five seasons for the Chiefs with 64 catches for 503 yards, four touchdowns, 29 carries for 186 yards, and two touchdowns.
On special teams, Thomas had 51 kickoff returns for 1,267 yards, 72 punt returns for 700 yards, and one touchdown.
De’Anthony Thomas spent three seasons (2011-13) at the University of Oregon. He played 28 games with 92 catches for 1,052 yards, 14 touchdowns, 165 carries for 1,424 yards, and 20 touchdowns.
On special teams, Thomas had 52 kick returns for 1,372 yards, three touchdowns, 16 punt returns for 274 yards, and one touchdown. Thomas was named 2011 First-Team All-Pac 12 and 2011 Pac-12 Co-Offensive Freshman of the Year.
