On Tuesday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed linebacker Jovan Santos-Knox to a one-year contract extension through the 2022 season.

Jovan Santos-Knox (27-years-old) played 14 games in 2021 with 72 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble in his first season in Hamilton.

After playing at the University of Massachusetts, Knox signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He played 34 games in two seasons (2017-18), with the Blue Bombers making 129 tackles, 20 special teams tackles, eight sacks, two interceptions, and three forced fumbles.

In 2019, Knox signed with the Edmonton Eskimos, playing three games with 13 tackles, one special teams tackle, and one sack.

Knox spent four seasons (2012-15) at the University of Massachusetts, playing 46 games with 338 tackles, six sacks, two interceptions, 13 pass blocks, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
