On Monday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed for B.C. Lions wide receiver Lemar Durant to a one-year contract.
Lemar Durant (29-years-old) played eight games in 2021 for the Lions with 24 catches for 263 yards and one carry for 18 yards. Durant played 23 games in two seasons for the Lions with 81 catches for 1,073 yards and five touchdowns.
The Calgary Stampeders drafted the six-year veteran in the second round (18th pick) in the 2015 CFL Draft out of Simon Fraser. He played 51 games in four seasons, with the Stampeders catching the ball 102 times for 1,280 yards and eight touchdowns.
In 74 career games, Durant has 183 catches for 2,353 yards, 13 touchdowns, and nine carries for 67 yards. Durant was part of the Calgary Stampeders 2018 Grey Cup championship team.
