Edmonton Elks signs three players, including former Ducks WR Darren Carrington II

On Friday, the Edmonton Elks signed three players, including former Oregon Ducks wide receiver Darren Carrington II.

Darren Carrington II (27-years-old) was with the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League in 2020. In 2018, he was on the practice squad of the Toronto Argonauts.

Carrington played 33 games in three seasons (2014-16) at Oregon with 112 catches for 1,919 yards, 15 touchdowns, and two carries for 27 yards. He transferred to Utah for his senior season in 2017, catching 70 passes for 980-yards and six touchdowns.

In addition to Carrington, the Elks signed DL Noah Jefferson and DB Christopher Harris.

Noah Jefferson (24-years-old) recently played 20 games in two seasons at FAU with 23 tackles, three sacks, one block, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. Before FAU, Jefferson was at USC for two seasons (2015-16) and at Arizona Western College in 2017. At USC, Jefferson played 14 games with 23 tackles.

Christopher Harris (23-years-old) played 27 games at St. John’s University with 83 tackles, one sack, 12 interceptions, 15 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick.
