On Saturday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed wide receiver D’haquille Williams to a one-year contract extension.
D’haquille Williams (29-years-old) played four games in 2021 with 17 catches for 285-yards and one touchdown.
Williams played two seasons (2012-13) at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with 118 catches for 2,028 yards and 26 touchdowns. He transferred to Auburn for his last two seasons (2014-15), catching 57 passes for 877 yards and six touchdowns.
After college, Williams signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. He was released as one of the final cuts in training camp.
Then, Williams signed with the Edmonton Eskimos and played 31 games in two seasons (2017-18) with 134 catches for 2,294 yards and 15 touchdowns. In 2018, Williams was named CFL West All-Star and CFL All-Star.
Williams went back to the NFL for the Buffalo Bills and played five games in two seasons (2019-20) with 12 catches for 166 yards and one touchdown. In 35 career CFL games, Williams has 151 catches for 2,579 yards and 16 touchdowns.
