Edmonton Elks signs DL Jordan Reaves

On Tuesday, the Edmonton Elks signed defensive lineman Jordan Reaves to a one-year contract.

Jordan Reaves (32-years-old) last played 17 games in 2018 for the Saskatchewan Roughriders on special teams with 12 tackles. In 22 career games with the Roughriders, Reaves has 14 special teams tackles.

Reaves is the youngest son of former Blue Bombers running back Willard Reaves, who helped the Blue Bombers in the 1972 Grey Cup. Reaves’s brother, Ryan, plays right wing for the New York Rangers.

Reaves attended Brandon University for five years and played basketball. In 2021, Reaves suffered an Achilles injury in training camp. In 2019, he tore his ACL during training camp and missed the season.
